Need for target trigger on Colt AR15 Match Target Model CR6724?
Am getting a Colt "äccurized" AR15 Match Target Model CR6724, will be shooting for accuracy at 200 yds. Have heard very little about any need to replace the trigger with a match or target trigger.
Interested in any/all experience or ideas regarding this matter as I believe "light trigger pull" is essential to accuracy. If suggesting a replacement then which do you suggest, etc. Thanks in advance, Wizzzard |
foot pounds required ...
What is the foot pound needed for the stock trigger? How far can it be reduced?

Honestly, shoot the stock trigger, when u outshoot it or if the trigger hampers your potential then upgrade it. I don't think you should upgrade before even shooting it. It may be just right for you. Try shooting a few hundred roundsc, then think abut it then.

If you feel the need giessle trigger is the best get it in 2-stage and you will love it 279.00 or go with a rock river 2-stage best for the money little over 100.00 you will love the 2-stage trigger first stage is around 3lb then last stage is 1.5lb so total trigger is 4.5lbs but feels like a 1.5 lb and will make wieght in competition
