Or maybe I got it from the customer review?
Yeah, that's the one, Slo. And the customer review was what threw us off. Pretty darned good deal nonetheless!

Sounds great Stone. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

Let me know how you make out with it. I am buying a Bushmaster M4 A3 and will be looking for a scope. I want to be able to shoot out to 300 yards.

Just in case anyone was still interested. I asked the folks over at SWFA about that Nikon scope being a Monarch or not...this is the replies I got.

The Optics Talk Forums - TEAM PRIMOS SCOPE

Now...that's not saying it is the Gospel truth, but....still sounds like a heck of a deal

Yeah, a photo would help (maybe there is one, I'm too lazy to really dig). The Monarchs I've seen clearly say "Monarch" on the side.

LOL...the photo was in that first link to the ad I posted. I agree, it's not much of a photo, but it was there. From what I've heard, it is a Monarch, but most likely an OLDER model Monarch. But heck, for that price, the Pro Staff model can run that much and more. Just not sure how the older Monarch compares to the present Pro Staff...but HEY..you do get that nifty CAMO jacket for FREE!!!
What more could you want ? Okay..it's not a ghillie suit, but the money you saved, you can go rent a Sasquatch costume.
