Just noticed you're from NY, is this a preban AR? Seems to have the "evil" features that NY still bans. And buying new standard capacity magazines will be a problem. You'll be limited to 10 rounds, right? Or buy preban mags too.

Well, it is a pre-ban AR.

I have a ton of pre-ban magazines. They are mostly standard mil-spec mags but they are pretty old. I am going to buy new followers and padded base plates.

Also take them a part and clean em up real good.

Yeah those Magpul Gen 3 followers really smooth up the old GI mags. Most of mine have them installed.
