Lol! I actually took that light off. I liked it a lot but it doesn't work well with handguards that go up to the flash hider it makes it restrictive to where you can mount it because of the wide bezel. Went with the Haley Strategic WML by Inforce and love it

Poi,

That is one fine looking build! I LIKE!
The only issue you may have issues with your light mounted that far forward with smoking up the lens from gasses from the flash hider? Maybe not!
Certainly not knocking the coolness and the fantastic build! Because that it is! Just a suggestion.

LaiePoi,

Sexy build build brother. Definitely a quality weapon. I was wondering about your upper receiver? You said it was a Vltor, but I noticed a Noveske stamp under the top rail back behind the deflector?

I was about to say, Your Ar looks like my jeep with all the lights attached it! Then I realized it was the reflection in the mirror!

I bought a lower the same time I bought my complete rifle, and have absolutely no idea where I was to began with it. It's like Lego for adults...

Thats as far back as I could mount the TLR1s because the bell is so big it wont go back any further because it runs into the handguard and then wont mount. Would be fine if my handguard didnt run all the up to the flashhider. I wish i knew that before i purchased....lesson learned! Yes I did figure that it would catch the heavy side blast from the battlecomp and didnt want to ruin the light (before i could sell it) so i removed it and have since replaced it with the inforce 200 WML. Actually like that light better because it is compact with built in pressure switch/rail mount and only $100

It's Vltor mur upper but noveske stamped. I bought the upper complete because I didn't want to mess up barrel or handguard install since it was my first build. Put everything else together myself. Next build ill prob do everything myself

This is what I'm running on it now-

Inforce HSP WML on Thorntail mount to offset it

Still a little far forward but I like it there because I have long arms. Just wanted to get it behind the holes on the battlecomp. I'll try it out there for now and if its a problem ill just move it back more
