Default My Custom CMT Texas Bronze Build

Been almost 3 months since my last build, the Noveske Tungsten.
I had been slowly acquiring parts which i wanted for this build and the itch of building had overtaken me.

Just got back the parts which i sent to be cerakoted. They were cerakoted by a fellow member here, TexasGunner. He did a very outstanding job.. he really did!.
I told him i wanted something like Burnt Bronze but darker. At first i was leaning to Barret Bronze. That color looks nice and tempting by looking on my screen.
TexasGunner mailed me few sample plates for comparison. They were Barret Bronze, Burnt Bronze, Texas Bronze and Midnight Bronze.
Seeing the Barret Bronze in person, i quickly changed my mind. I fell in love to his special blend, Texas Bronze.
This Texas Bronze has the metallic looks of Burnt Bronze but darker. I love it!
TexasGunner was so helpful as he promptly updated me the status. Total was about 1-1.5 week from the day i shipped the parts to today.

Just had the chance to take pictures of them an hour ago. I had to wait till wifey and the kids slept. Well, she doesn't know about this build yet .
I didn't tweak any of the images as i try not to change the color. Well as we know, looking at the pics are totally different in person.

Hopefully i will be able to build them by tomorrow or monday night the latest. And of course i will take more pictures under different lighting.

To be continued..

Glad you like 'em! And I agree it is hard to capture the color on camera. Depending on the lighting you can get a lot of different looks. Might I add one picture of my own?

This one is unedited just as yours, only under different lighting. Almost looks like a whole different color!

I can't wait to see the finished product! Then you need to send it back to me for proper testing! :-) I like the pics against the white stucco and the ones on the asphalt. I think those give the most accurate representation of the color.
