Looking good. How about some specs?

Well, its a Del-Ton stripped lower with AR Stoner SS parts kit, replaced all accessories with DPMS SS matte finish (minus the safety which is on its way along with the carbine size gas tube). Commercial buffer with Magpul stock, Magpul grip, PMAG 30 round (2 of them) and Magpul trigger guard. All DE. Upper is a blemished stripped Spikes with DPMS SS accessories. Saving up for the nitrate bolt carrier and the 16 inch barrel. Plan on going chrome lined with a SS matte flash hider to match the accessories. Plan on quad rail and using the Magpul angled fore grip that I already have, also in DE, and will order DE front and back sights. Going with a red dot sight, but still deciding on which one.

Also going to get a wedge as the upper is a TINY bit looser than I wanted, but BARELY moves. Still.....

I've never been much of an AR guy, but I like where yours is going.

I like the contrast that the stainless gives against the black and FDE. Unique and cool looking build so far.

I like. You are using good stuff. I have the "Ghetto fabulous" TI Nitrided BCG in one of my ARs and like it a lot. Cleans easy.

Aimpoint has a new optic that is very cost effective and includes the mount.

Very nice so far brother. I would recommend against the Chrome Lined barrel, unless you want it for easy cleaning OR plan on putting a crapload of rounds through it. The Chrome Lined are not as accurate as a Chrome Moly.

A lot of folks will sh!t on the idea of an Accu-Wedge but I am here to tell you, it's a very cheap and easy fix to tighten the upper to the lower without any extra machining. All you have to do is check it every time you are cleaning and if it shows wear, you replace a $3 part.

Excellent plan.

Thanks for the great comments! And JD, good to know about the barrel, will have to rethink that option....

If anyone knows where I can get a SS charging handle, I would be more than grateful, I have looked and looked and no luck so far. If they even make one....

I love the nitrided look, they also have a chrome one that I am looking at too, but I am more interested in the cleaning aspect of it than the look as it is mostly inside and out of sight. (although a little bling bling might be nice too, HA!)
