Which do you prefer for a max distance of 120 yards? Also looking thru the RD which can you see more targets. I'm guessing the 30mm has more peripheral vision.

Honestly? If I was building a rifle like yours, it would be a primary arms or a vortex.

It's nice to see someone spend money on decent gear rather than blowing their bank roll on a bunch of airsoft gear to put on a bottom end AR. The jury is still out on the lower

While i really like the vortex stuff, i think they offer a pretty rugged optic i wouldnt use one on a ohsht gun simply because they block a lot of view and dont have the battery life of an aimpoint.

I use the vortex rds on fun guns where i dont care if it runs out of juice just practicing. I havent manage to break the sparc or strikefire yet. Choice between vortex primary and aimpoint... i rank em in this order

1. Aimpoint
1.5 vortex
.
.
.
15. Primary arms

I would go EoTech after the Aimpoint then probably the Primary Arms before any others. The others restrict vision way to much for my liking. There isn't a red dot that comes close to the Aimpoints in any category.

PSA just had Vortex StrikeFire and Sparc on specials ended 1 or 2 weeks ago. Otherwise you could have gotten either one.

I know the StrikeFire was $119 free S/H What was the price on the Sparc? I have never seen either one. What is the big difference looking thru them. Is there a bigger sight of view with 30mm over Micro Red Dot? I just don't know the pro's and con's of them.

I got the Sparc when PSA's sale for $160 shipped. The StrikeFire has Green & Red dot. Bigger design just like Aimpoint Patrol. While the Sparc's model is just like Aimpoint H1/T1. Not exactly the same, just so u know roughly the idea what it looks like . I believe both come with magnifier. Sparc has 3 height of riser mounts. I haven't tested the Sparc yet, it's still in my drawer. I just love shopping when deals are good. Lol.

Agree to disagree. I have used PA for my micro clone and my rifle light, both products are working excellent for me and PA has a good reputation in most circles.
