Default My 14.5" Light Weight AR build.

I've been working on another LW build. Its a BCM 14.5" LW middy I found on the EE.

I have been wanting the VLTOR A5 stock kit since before it was released. However I didn't want to pay $225 for a kit w/ a stock I didn't want. They are now selling the parts w/o the Emod

Thank you.

I don't have any range time w/ the new VLTO A5 buffer system but I shot a 3gun w/ the upper the last Sat. of last month. BCM makes a DA*M good piece of equipment.

No doubt about that, what a great build this is going to be mj! I love the LW middies and guess you're twisting my arm to buy a nice BCM 14.5.

Well done, sir... I'll quit gushing now.

Thanks again guys.

Quentin, your DD is awesome. No real need for another but heck if you're looking for an excuse WTH . I'm excited to try out the rifle-ish buffer set-up. I have been eying those VLTORs for a long time. In fact I used some, actually most of the Contour (weapon mounted HD camera) money lol

Yeah I'm real happy with the DD upper but might have a chance to get another upper and it'll be BCM if I do. My son-in-law needs an upper and has been using my ArmaLite. In fact he really likes my ArmaLite so maybe I'll make him a deal.

MJ, thanks for the tip on the VLTOR A5 kit BTW. I also am interested but hated that stock and didn't want to pay for it. Definitely let us know how it works out. I've read a few threads over at M4C on the system and it sounds like the way to go.

That would be awesome. Keep it in the family so you could still shoot it.
