From the exchange of posts, I think you've hit on something there!

And it's lose not loose!

Unless you meant something like "loose points to the ether"...

I was confused also.

YES, We should adopt the word(s) Modern Sporting Rifle. We need to develop a nomenclature that resists the efforts of the AWB'ers.

Since 1992, the MSR has become the most widespread firearm. The Anti's (and the ignorant), need some numbers on honest law abiding citizens that own MRS's. Many of today's political battles are one with words.

I support the MSR, AW are already tightly regulated. We need to arm our politicians with the right words to win the battle for us.

I'm going to start calling mine my "Hippie Love Gun" just to mess with their heads!

Have you all signed the petitions? https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/do-not-reinstate-federal-assault-weapons-ban-1994/sC09SX1l

and the other one is here http://signon.org/sign/do-not-renew-the-assault?source=c.url&r_by=

So do you think doing a psychedelic paisley paint job on my AR--- oops, I mean my Hippie Love Gun, would be too much?

I always thought it would be a good idea to call a rifle with a barrel 16 inches or longer a "long barrel rifle"

Flowers make good targets but lousy barrel brushes.
