So id like to install a bipod on my ar but it has a carbine style handgrip is there anyway to do it and how

Is there a sling swivel on the gas block?

You got options. I know with the standard hand guard u can go get this

Magpul handguard, one piece of rail, and you're good to go. Plus you have more opportunities to add rail in the future if desired.

I second the magpul above. Much better ergo and feel than stock. Take a look at the angle foregrip and the various tactical verticals. They both clamp to the same rail.
