Default MAKO Mag well grip

Have any of you guys used this product? I've got 2 AR's one already has quad rail on it so I wanted to keep stock hand guard on the other and possibly use a Mako mag well grip.

I dont grip on the front of the magwell so no need for me , I have heard by some that it can create a issue getting mags to drop if you dont trim a area of it

Gripping the magwell is probably the single worst place for the offhand. You have no control and very poor balance. Its the same thing as holding a pistol sideways gangster style.

I have a couple, and honestly they are worthless, I think it's just esthetics and added weight. My pistol AR is the only one I've actually tried holding. It's a 7.5" barrel so it's a little easier, but I think it's worthless overall.

It is a stupid product made for a mall ninja's shooting style. Someone thought it "looked cool" and it has become in vogue. No thank you. I will hold my rifle like a man.

Also, nobody thinks about where the Gases go when there's a Kaboom. Yelp, right out the Mag Well.
