Magpul MOE forearm question
I had both my MOE forearms off tonight and one bottom wont fit on the other top , and the tops, one is a little bit taller than the other by about 1/2" and the top slots are longer on one than the other , Did they make a change at some point in time ?

They do authorized the reproduction of their stuff to airsoft companies. There have been mixups in the past. Plus you always have the Chinese knock-offs.

There is also 3 sizes to choose from.
Carbine
Mid Length
Rifle Length
Could have gotten the wrong length.

I guess I should have stated that both sets came on factory uppers not that means anything , they are both carbine length , I did notice that one set seemed a little thinner , not really any more flimsy, just thinner. That set came off of a older gun also thats why I asked if they had possibly made a change , they arent any wider or longer just a bit taller with different holes in the top . When I tried to put one top on the other bottom it was about 1/4" from actually fitting in the other one . I guess I should have taken pictures

I believe the made a change a couple years ago changing the dimensions a bit so that it could clear most piston designs.
I had a newer carbine moe fde on my piston. I did take it upon myself to call around LGS to find fresh inventory to buy it, because Maggy neglected to differentiate the two versions.
No experience wth the older version.

you will notice the difference in the 2 in my pics
http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f20/ar-picture-thread-83/index89.html
one has 5 slots in the top and one has 4, one comes up at and angle to the top about 1/2" taller than the other and the other is flatter across the top , Not that its a big deal until you try to mix the 2 of them together
