Default Mag well grip for smith amd wesson M&P 15 MOE

Hey everyone new to the board and to my AR. Bought a new Smith and Wesson M&P 15 MOE. Absolutely love the gun. I ordered a Mako mag well grip and it didn't fit so I went to sanding and after an hour or so of back and forth gave up. I like the product and one on the gun. Does anyone have one they have mounted and how did you do it? Are there any other products like this that might be easier to get on?
Thanks from the newbie.
John Hill

You might have to break out the dremel. I have two, one went right on, and the other tool some grinding.

I used a dremel, just seemed like I was taking a lot off.
