I haven't gone back over the entire thread, but I take it we're not talkin' about CLP or slip anymore????

I have not. Every penny has gone toward ammo recently. Its been tight w/ all the birthdays and holiday. But it's on the list.

It's the only grease I use anymore. Doesn't run at 120 degrees, and doesn't gum up at -40.
Not sure I've heard of it. Sounds interesting though.

Can you point me to the posts about the motor oil? I have been using Mobil 1 on my 1911 for years and just naturally started using it on my AR. Last thing I want to do I get off to a bad start.

Btw, I am using a "cut" version for the AR 90% Mobil 1 and 10% marvels mystery oil. To be honest it is running wonderfully smooth.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Does anyone else think BenLuby should roll out his own special brand?
