Default Lower receiver question

Hey guys I'm thinking about building an AR this winter, as prices have started to return to normal. Any suggestions on a good lower to start from, hopefully in the $100-200 range. I ran across a Mega Arms lower for 125 but passes cause I've never heard of them. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks in advance.

If you don't want a receiver produced by an unfamiliar company, choose one you are familiar with.

Mega Arms is one of the best lowers out there. Check out Spike's lowers too. Aim has the blems for $80.
I'd get the Mega Arms if i were you.

The S&W is a nice one IMO. Nice laser engraving and a flared mag well. I think they run about $150. Mega makes a great billet lower I hear. I've heard the Spikes are good too, if only the pirate roll mark would pop back on the market.

http://www.kygunco.com/anderson-manu-556-223--ar15-lower-7075-t6-limit-2-per-person-59241 Check out ky gun co. They have the Anderson lowers for$68.99. Built my first with one and it has been flawless. At this price I will be picking up a couple more to have. Don't let the price fool you. They make good stuff

Mega is one of the best companies out there......they have their own forge. Daniel Defense, Colt, Bravo Company Manf. Noveske, LMT, LWRC, don't even have their own forge.

Mega is good. Just stay away from poly lowers. PSA has good deals too. Franklin Armory makes a nice one.
