Looking for someone to install my FSB

I just got a pre-drilled fsb and a virgin barrel for my next build and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of someone who would take on the job of installing it and also installing the barrel to the upper, local (N. Kentucky) would be better but I'd be willing to ship it anywhere if need be.

I've never built an upper so I think I'd be better off sending it out.
Thanks guys.

Oh come on. Its cake. You can do it we will walk you through it. With the exception of scratches, its pretty easy. You can buy a vise block for less than the shipping and your good to go. Are you doing a free float or regular drop in handguards? I just installed my troy low profile gas block and rail, requiring me to take off the barrel nut and previous fsb, and Im so happy I did it. I told myself I should let someone else do it but really. No biggie. Let me know if you need help

I believe midway has a video walkthrough for a complete build. If I remember correctly from teaching build classes that is.
If you can build the lower, you can do the upper. There are a few tricks for avoiding scratches etc.

Any local gun shop/gunsmith can install it for you.

Does the FSB have set screws or is it set up to be taper pinned? Photos would help.

Taper pinning requires machining experience and equipment but set screws aren't a big deal. If you have a torque wrench, a vice block and barrel nut wrench you'll be able to knock it out.

So you want to install an A2 Front Sight Base on a virgin barrel with no cutouts on the bottom of the barrel for the taper pins, correct? That is easier said than done. I would recommend installing a railed gas block. It'll be much easier than sending it out to get the barrel machined.

Adco is definitely who you want to use if you want your barrel machined for an A2 FSB.

Yup, A1 actually;) I'm doing my first retro build, M16A1 circa 1966-67, really excited about it. I'll start a build thread at some point.
