What kind of sights on what gun.

Blue is very heat sensitive and some locations on a gun might as well use gun oil.

Get yourself some rockset. Its got an excessively high heat resistance but low sheer strength making it perfect for 99% of the things you need locked up on a firearm.

Blue will work fine on the mounting screws since the front isnt on a gas block.

no thats super glue in the loctite brand. you need blue thread locker as its commonly called since loctite is now a brand name.

permatex brand (which is the same formula as "locktite" is whats readily available here.

BigBizz,

Blue Loctite #242 ONLY! And use a very small amount. When I use it I usually get a 3X5 Card and put a little Loctite on it and then take a sharp tipped tooth pick, dip it in the Loctite and place a very small drop where I need it. On an AR Extension Tube for example, I usually use three small drops. You can also use your wife or girlfriends clear fingernail polish for light applications. It will work just fine. Of course if you use your girlfriend's and have a wife do not tell your wife you borrowed it !
