I would definitely double check everything in the trigger assembly. I've heard of weak/incorrectly installed springs before.

I put together my BIL's lower for him one day when we were visiting but didn't have time to rest at the range. Later in the week he got it out and had issues with light strikes among other things. In the end the light strikes came down to I had inserted the hammer spring backwards. I would check that first. Sounds like the same situations he was having.

Thanks for the pointers fellas

I looked at the spring and it seemed installed just like my others by appearance from where the legs were...


I'll report back how my next shoot goes
