yes they do. but they get quite anal about their guns they are in a class of their own that really doesnt include the normal AR15 guys.

i guess thats true, im not a revolver guy prolly why it would never occur to me as i would never reach for a wheel gun as a ccw piece.

Would it be safe to say that a 5.56 chamber and barrel with 1:8 twist rate would provide wide range of ammunition choices?

I don't regret my 1:9 choice as my first 5.56 upper, but my 2nd AR will be 1:8. I'm not a real fan of 55 grains. Definitely 62 grain or better and zombies can really eat up 79 grains like they're goin' outta style. Maybe even 1:7.

I want to try a 1:8 and see if itll shoot the light stuff any better than the 1:7. I wonder if a 1:8 would be better w/ 62gr. rounds in a compitition setting?

Anyone have a lead on some nice 1:8 stainless?
