did you order the upper direct from rra??

rra can take a bit cuz they are in demand and make their uppers and rifles on a first come first serve line when parts are available. ive ordered a couple from them longest wait was 6 weeks. but i dont mind cuz what your getting is reallllly good.

as for psa i dunno i dont have any of their stuff

I ordered a complete rifle from RRA in May/June of 2012 (6 months pre-hysteria). It finally arrived at my LGS in November, and they took the liberty of downgrading some specifically advertised 'upgrade/deal' parts in order to get it out in a timely manner. They still charged the full price of course, and basically told my LGS and I "tough sh!t" when we inquired about what was actually delivered. This is why I will no longer deal with RRA. They produce decent stuff (although unreasonably heavy, IMO), but my experience is that their integrity leaves a lot to be desired. The delivered RRA weighed about 40% more than what you might expect from similarly equipped rifle. Fine for the bench, no so great otherwise.

PSA can be somewhat slow, but they're an honest company. Good parts. They were delivering in 4-6 weeks throughout the early 2013 fiasco, and will likely have a product at your door in 5-15 business days of late. I say this with some confidence because they continue to receive my business.

Not intending to take a dig at your purchase...but a PSA/BCM upper would probably have treated your wallet and gun better...regardless or your build scheme. But that's certainly not to imply that the RRA will be lacking in quality. Their stuff is decent. The integrity issue is just something I have a hard time disregarding.
