Wow.. a very pricey. I thought they are about $1100 price range? If i were you i'd get DD or BCM. Its just my opinion. BUT hey you really did yourself one of the best brand out there too. Congrats and have fun spending time with that beast.

yup, BRD spreads quick and insurance doesn't cover it!

I haven't seen any SOCOMs in the $1,100 price range.

I could only find 3 differences between the SOCOM & the basic LE6920, but they were a big deal to me. The SOCOM has a heavier barrel I believe, the quad-rail, & the ambidextrous safety selector, the latter being the deciding factor, cause I'm a lefty.
