Now's the time -- go get one! Or roll your own. A bunch of us here have done that.

Default wow

I have to admit, this is pretty encouraging. I've been wondering what it would cost to build an AR, and although I'm sure prices have gone up in the past 2 months, well, 7 days really, it looks like building one will still be a bit of a money saver.

It was nice to see a link to my employer (midwayusa.com) in your list of parts. Just started working there on the 5th and I already feel like a kid in a candy shop. Might have to try my hand at this myself one day soon!

Very nice setup you made Junho. Makes me jealous.

Well, I jsut wanted to say that this thread is a large part of why I want to build an AR (along with a lot of the posts i've read from Slo and Dillinger). I've already started to tentatively shop around and will begin in earnest after o finish up some college application things.

Junho- i saw you mention the guide you used several times. DO you still have it and if so can you please email it to me? Let me know and i'll PM you my email addy.

Thanks!
