Imod vs CTR

So I'm about to actually buy the rest of my stuff. Going to buy a Noveske 14.5 upper in two weeks ( hopefully they have the battlecomp in stock then ), my plan is to add a centurion C4 rail down the road, I think it'll look cool! Anyway I'm not to sure of which stock to get, mainly just want to make sure the rifle is balanced. Also if anyone knows what buffer weight I should run with the noveske 14.5 that would be greatly appreciated.

It's hard to go wrong with the CTR, IMO.

Buffer:
Midlength or carbine gas length? FA or SA carrier? What ammo? As you can see, lots of variables.

As a rule of thumb: carbine, H2. Midlength probably H but there are exceptions.

Ok thx, I just don't want it to be too front heavy. It's probably not that big of a deal, the 14.5 is a pretty short rifle.

Which buffer does Noveske recommend?

I just looked it up on their website, looks like their rifles all come with a H buffer, guess that answers that question. I also looked up Imod and ctr, Imod is 2 oz more and C4 is 2 oz more than magpul moe hand guard, now the question is would I even notice?

Answers please... it really does matter.

I just found this, kinda scratching my head. I want to buy a complete stock kit and was thinking maybe one with a Spikes ST-T2 would be cool, but what the heck is this?

This kit includes everything you'll need to attach the Magpul CTR stock to your AR15 carbine. Adjustable for length of pull, this stock features a unique locking lever that friction-locks the stock to the buffer tube for zero movement. The highly-reliable buffer spring is constructed from ASTM Grade A877 certified valve-grade chrome silicon wirestock, plated with deep penetrating re-micronized moly-disulfide formulation.

It's a good kit but doesn't come with an H or H2 buffer, just standard weight carbine.

Have you given thought to which weight you need?

If you go to Noveske website all of their rifles are listed with a heavy buffer, so I think that answers my question. I want to get the cheapest Noveske 14.5 when I get paid. Probably overkill but if these things hit the endangered list again I want something to last a lifetime.
