Although I can't really see where you are coming from, I will say this, the United States was originally a very Christian country before non Christians came in and tried to change everything. I used this as an analogy with guns because originally, most people had guns, but non gun owners and antis moved in and will strip this country down like they did with Christianity.

Edit: I would also like to say I don't want this to turn into a religious debate. I am really not in the mood and this thread was not intended for it. I only brought it up to use it as an analogy.

I not really worried about another AWB. Like someone pointed out in another thread, I think we should be worried about the anti-gun government going after our ammo.

Personally i think debates like this are fun, however i still stand strong in saying that i dont believe guns will be going away anytime soon, because if anyone takes guns away before i get my upper. . .**** is going down

I'd say that if you're talking about guns then religion is invariably part of the equation.

Guns have been a part of the equation since before constitutions have existed, and religion long before that. And with one usually following the other (war), I don't know how you can say they're not.

Last week, my rep at Davidsons told me that they got in 100 ARs (didn't mention makes) and they were scarfed by dealers in 4 1/2 minutes. That has to be some kind of record.

So, don't be surprised if finding a new AR becomes a quest very soon. I know the cheaper models have disappeared in the stock of several distributors already.
I just don't get it, why would the OP want us to think that there may never be another chance to buy firearms again? Now or never, what's that all about?
