I doubt it. There is a 12 gauge "AR." But it isn't really an AR. It just looks like one.

Here in Indiana you will find these cal.s in the good gun shops because deer hunters use them.
I don't see how anyone could afford them ($52 for 20rds) but they have them.
It is as close to a high power rifle as we are aloud use for hunting deer.

do you think there would be a better large pistol caliber round that would work in an AR upper? I am considering the possibility of having an AR custom made, and I want it to be a powerful pistol round. I dont have the "It's got to be the 500 or not at all" mindframe.

Also, would you say I'd be far better off just buying either a 450 Bushmaster, 458 Socom, or 50 Beowulf AR?
I'm really not the person to answer that question as I have very little experience with any of them. I was strictly speaking from a marketing standpoint in reguards to large manufacturers. I absolutely think that a custom shop would make one if you were willing to shovel out gross amounts of money for it. I also think its a really cool, somewhat outside the box idea. I just don't think some random guy off the street could convince, colt lets say that it would be profitable in the long run.

A .410 upper could really get a guy through this ammo shortage!

Now that would be nice. I'd buy a .410 upper.

Yes there is a .410 upper. Not sure I would want one , but hey, you can dress your Barbie any way you want.

Shows to be discontinued. All I'm saying is there was never a shortage of .410. Even when everything else was gone there was always some .410 laying around.
