My wife and I both love to shoot, and she's extremely happy with her .22 Marlin 795 and Ruger Mark III. She tried a .380 and 38 Spcl, but just didn't like the recoil on either, so she sold 'em both, and just bought more .22 Ammo with the Sale Money.
I, on the other hand, have over a dozen Handguns and Rifles combined, and she's never questioned one of my purchases in the 35 years we've been married.
Matter of fact, when I get a USPS or UPS Package at the front door, and she asks what it is, I tell her,
"Gun Stuff!"..... just like to asked me to! She tells me, that doesn't know the difference from one part to another, so it's just easier for her to generalize it as,
"Gun Stuff!" Works for me!
