Built my first AR. I tried to resist...I swear I held out as long as possible....but gave in to peer pressure and temptation.

Bought a AP stripped lower, a build kit from PSA, Magpul ODG furniture, and a Spikes Tactical GMP Mock Dissipator upper.

I'm excited to put some rounds through it. Seriously took like 45 minutes to assemble the lower, easy peasy.

Ha, I'm not worried, she doesnt like it. Simply because it isnt pretty. She likes shooting AR's, but doersnt like them, they're just 'another gun' to her.

She about had a heart attack when I pulled the gorgeous walnut furniture off of my M1A and duracoated a fiberglass stock to put on there "What'd you do?! I hate it now! It was so beautiful before! That was my favorite rifle!!!!!!"

"If you're going to get an AR type rifle, just get a SCAR" she tells me. Okay, let me go hit the lottery real quick. Its just like with everything else in life, they automatically go straight for the most expensive one without even knowing it!

She definately sounds like a keeper! :D
