well i am of the opinion he's just a teenager, probably around 14-15 yo. the only gun he has is a pellet rifle he's rigged up for a SHTF situation!
another thing that makes him remind me of Shoobee, is when asked a point blank or direct question, he either avoids it or, he gets off that thread for a while then comes back later to post some other nonsense or lame information.

I use a ar 15 in 223 for coyotes, using hornady superformance ballistic tips will make a mess of a coyote real quick, plus quick fire rate for running dogs and follow up shots.

Maybe so. My intent was more to point out that one cannot make such a specific persuasive statement like that without some evidence or argument.

.223 is illegal in Colorado for large game. But I hope to hunt coyotees with mine this year. If I had a larger caliber AR I would love to use it for deer.

Shot placement, shot placement, SHOT PLACEMENT!
I've seen deer in Ky shot and killed with a .22 LR.
Caliber matters very little. Hitting a deer in the kill zone is most important.
