X!!! Thank you sir for the opportunity! I'm am saddened that it did not work out, yet glad to see that a product that was not performing was found out. Anyhow, your awesome and thank you again. For a vendor to place a product for free, to be tested is a great thing. Bravo.

Oh, I wasn't saying you didn't do a good report, ok, just that this whole field testing had to be truncated due to immediate equipment failure (twice). There was no reason for you or Tikki to further ruin a day at the range when you could just swap back your own BCG and continue without problems.

I really wish we could do a muzzle brake test. I'd dedicate a day in my life. Just need a bunch of brakes, a bunch of crush washers, a thousand rounds of various ammo, a video camera, and a couple friends.
Make that a couple thousand rounds, and a couple days.....

Now that would be an interesting test on muzzle brakes and I bet they don't break the rifle like the last test!
It would be interesting to see how they compare in effectiveness, flash and noise. In the end this might be beyond our resources though and no doubt it's been done before and maybe the results are online. So far I've been solidly behind the A2 birdcage as the best compromise.

I am interested to know what that BCG weighed ? anyone weigh it compared to your current setup ? Did it slide in the upper smoothly ?
Bolt smooth in the carrier ? was it any easier to clean than your normal bolt and carrier ? Damn I had alot of questions I had hoped to answer myself when it got here oh well

I weighed the BRO bcg....did I forget to put it down? It weighed the same as my RA milspec FA BCG. Nothing surprising there.

There have been some tests done. But there really isn't a good way to accurately compare or evaluate recoil reduction or muzzle rise compensation without the use of very expensive doohickeys.
Then there are so many other variables in play. Gas system length, barrel length, gas port sizing, buffer weight, buffer spring rates, BCG weight, overal weapon weight, barrel profile (yes this matters), even gas block weight matters imo.
On top of this, there are probably 100 different muzzle breaks to test, figure a couple magazines each break, and you are looking at ALOT of ammo.
....and a whole lot of fun
