Default Hog hunting with an AR

Going on my first hog hunt with a bunch of friends Tuesday and I'm taking my AR, .308, and shotgun since we're shooting skeet as well to pass the time. How well should my AR do against pigs with 55 grain hollow points and ball fmj 62 grain rounds?

Hogs are tough , Head shots will drop them quick , the .308 will be perfect but your AR will be more fun popping head shots , Well for me it would :
