Did you look at the DPMS models? I don't own one.

Some around here aren't fond of Armalites, but my A2 AR10 runs like a champ and is dead accurate. So what about using manufacturer specific mags? I just buy a couple of dozen and the problem is solved. With AR10's, you will run into a lot of manufacturer specific issues. If the cost of mags is a problem, you probably don't want an AR10.

Depends on how deep your pocket book is... POF is my recommendation.

I own a couple of 7.62 DPMS AP4 models and have been very happy. Accurate out of the box.

DPMS LR AR10 owner here. More than Accurate, smooth, and easy to tear down to clean and re-assemble. Never have had a Fail to feed, eject or any other annoying malfunctions.
