Krieger will custom make you a heavy threaded ar barrel and they are supremely accurate ones too. I ordered one and it was a hair over a month till i got it. Thats for a custom barrel.

I saw it on an earlier thread - looked sweet - the twist was unusual, (1:7 seems to handle the heaviest rounds. My Ruger is 1:9 which is kinda middle of the road.

Its 1-7.7 best 3 shot group so far with only one range session half inch at 300yards. Krieger knows what they are doing. I talked with one of their reps told him what i wanted to do and just went with his suggestions. The fluting and bead blast was added.

Will they make short barrels as well? I'm really interested in having a barrel built that is both short and threaded so I can put my AAC M4-2000 on it.

So lets say that I'm not too worried about the price and I definitely want to have a short barrel. Is this the company I want to buy from?

Yea I understand the law on short barrels. I have Already passed a short barrel before so another one should be no problem. What other companies are out there that are comparable to krieger?

My friend has a ar15performance.com 20" and loves his (he's not a precision shooter tho.)

Black Hole Weaponry makes a very nice barrel.

Then there's always Noveske.
