Default Hbar

What are the pros and cons of an HBAR ar-15?

Depends on two things; round count, and how far do you need to hump it?

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

It'll be a range gun and maybe 200-300 rounds a month.

Some of the pros are:

better stabilization with the heavier barrel
Less muzzle flip
Less felt recoil
Faster followup shots
Takes longer for the barrel to really heat up, but when it does, it also takes longer for it to cool down

Cons,
more weight if you have to carry it anywhere

It's also going to feel muzzle-heavy since most of the weight of the gun will be forward of the receiver. Shooting offhand will give your weak hand a workout.
