You're trying to put an AR-10 upper on an AR-15 lower.
Notice how the 308 mags won't fit in the 223 mag void?

I own a .308 and a 5.56. And yes, I'm sure. Do you have a complete ar15 rifle or just the lower?

You going to believe "the kid at the gun shop" or us?
Here's a thought, have "the kid at the gun shop" mount your AR-10 upper to the AR-15 lower and have him fire the first round.
Unless it's a Colt 901 it ain't gonna happen.

I would think, even if one was a novice, that when purchasing a firearm one would know the difference between an AR15 and an AR10
If you are stuck with the AR10 upper, than buy/build yourself an AR10 lower and enjoy

I am sorry I just wanted to start something funny.
I was joking I know they won't fit. And I would never try to make them fit.
Canebrake you had the funniest reply . Make the kid at the gun shop shoot it first . That's to funny I am still laughing .
Thanks again I hope I didn't make any of you to mad at me. Or think that I am really stupid .

308 uppers and lowers aren't interchangeable inside their own caliber... So if and when u do order a lower u need to make sure it will fit with the dpms... My advise.. Just buy a dpms lower. I dk what other companies would fit that gun but I know rock river arms will not!!
Either someone told u this would work or u just didn't research before u bought.. Hard, expensive but well learned lesson for the future...
I walked into one gun shop and asked for a cheaper side of a semi auto shotgun 20ga for my girl.. Guy showed me a franchi al20 and it was 900 bucks... Said it was to much but he didn't know anything cheaper... Go to another shop the next day and he has a gas operated semi 20ga youth sitting on the self... 500 bucks..
It all just depends how far the knowledge of the shop goes... Some smarter than others
Put a sign in your front yard that reads "Gun Free House" & see where the criminals go.

Yep we're sure and the kid is wrong. Just take another look at the picture Cane put up for you!
That same kid used to work at Circuit City and kept telling people Blurays worked in your old DVD player.
Sorry but you'll have to sell the upper or build a DPMS style 308 lower since the ArmaLite AR-10 lower doesn't fit either.
