my last resort is to get it locked down on my drill press. i would rather have a part thats already ready. i dont really need it till next deer season so im looking for a part. we got several vendors lurking about here and peeps with tons of parts that may have a source. ive tried web searches but im not sure what to search for.

i want it to look professional and for that i would have to buy a big .950 bit and thats way more than the cost of a cap already made. last resort thats what ill do.

Youre probably only looking at .750 to .950 correct? .2 of an inch isnt that much to rub off will a dremel. Just go in a circular pattern trying not to flatten out an area.

Ill do a search and see what I can find.
