Default Hammers scopes

Anyone have any experience with Hammers scopes? I've been shopping for something to top my AR with and came across them. I'm stuck in the Nikon, Bushnell price range and the hammers fits. How would they compare to my Pro Staff?

The Optics Talk Forums - Hammers Rifle scope - Page 1

Spitty, I did find another forum when I did a search for Hammer optics, in the what it's worth department.

I put a 6x24 NC Star on the Bushy and for $150.00 not a bad scope. Life time warranty, lighted reticle, and side focus. Came with high mounts and holds zero nicely.

I guess I will steer clear of Hammers. Thanks joe. I'll give NC star a look. I was also told to take a look at vortex so I'll see what they have to offer.

Spitty, that looks like a heck of a choice and a great value. Eyes likes the lifetime warranty.

My budget is tight at the moment but I need something so I can shoot this thing. Took me 7 months to make it happen and it's been sitting there for 2 weeks without sights, calling me like a siren. I can't use MBUS sights because I have to mount the front on the gas block and apparently they don't like the heat. A set of metal "irons" costs as much as the scopes I can afford at the moment so here I am. With a bull barrel I want something that will the target in close.
