Get this: GG&G Picatinny Rail Mounted Bipod Adapter AR-15 Billet Aluminum Matte - MidwayUSA
and one of these: Harris Bipods at MidwayUSA
Look you can make the mistake I did and buy the rockmount CRAP and cry when you have spent $40 on that $25 on the adapter and then $90 on a Harris. Or you can cry when you buy the adapter and then the Harris for $90. Harris will last for ever and then 6 months.

This is true Tango. Buy once right! and you get what you pay for! What do you guys think about the forearm grips that have the bipod built in? Are they worth it or just crap?

Harris is the way to go but if you don't want to invest that much Walmart sells a Harris clone made by Winchester for about $50. Not going to last like a Harris but will do the job for plinking and such.

The bipod grip versions are pretty useless. My opinion proper use of a military sling trumps bipods. With a correctly adjusted sling shooting prone sitting or standing is pretty rock steady.
A good cheap bipod are those that clamp right to the barrel the plastic ones wont mar the finish and work well enough for plinking.

Let us know what you think about the one you chose. I was going to recommend the Grip Pod, something for others to check out if they are interested.
