Mornin and Happy New Year to All....got a question for yall, I zeroed my Eotech in a heartbeat, 1 click elev and 1 click windage, my BUIS is another story, I had to move my aperture way left to find zero? I remember when I first got my rifle I ran some rounds through her using the stock dual aperture sights...it was basically dead on, no adjustment and the aperture was dead center...what could be goin on here?

Just a regular shootin table with a solid rest, and a distance of 25 yds....

Do you have a stock rail running the length of the upper? Or do you have a flat top upper and you are mounting your front on one of those gas block mounts?

We need some more details to be able to help.

I have a Bushy xm15e2s HB A3...removeable carry handle, picanny rail...the stock sights are dead on from the factory...mounted my eotech all the way forward on the rail to give me room for workin the controls on the eotech (512) and the buis as far back as I could mount it...wonder if the buis is Not mil-spec?

That's odd you're having windage problems when the carry handle was dead on. GG&G is a quality unit and should be milspec so make sure it clamps on the rail properly. It won't take much to throw you off. I guess it's possible to get a bad one but not likely from that company. BTW, it's the Bushy sights that are not milspec.

More normally you would expect elevation issues using a milspec height rear sight with your Bushmaster A2 FSB (it should be F-marked to be milspec height). The Bushy carry handle and FSB are .04" shorter than milspec so you have to unscrew the front sight post until it may flop around to zero for elevation, especially at 100 yards. For that problem, buy the $5.50 Bushmaster .04" taller front sight post to bring it up to milspec height. Of course then your carry handle will be off unless you reindex it about 14 clicks below where it is now (which would raise the rear sight cage up off the rear shelf of the aluminum forging - you guessed it - .04".

Of course this issue wouldn't affect a RDS.
