Default Future of Ar-15 board

When I joined this forum a about a year ago the Ar was the hot topic ,uppers , lowers , new builds , lasers and such . With the impending gloom how will we survive , the board that is ? Nobody's going to be building them anymore and that's a large part of this board , Atleast it had been for me. so what do y'all think ? Will the forum grow or fade away ?

It will grow. This forum had fed me lots of knowledge. I will stay even if it will not grow.

Don't see it as a issue, people will find something else to talk about for a while. Though the 17 different threads a day about how Odumbo is going to ban guns and how it's imperative that we absolutely flip the heck out and buy anything and everything in sight is getting very tiring...

Rant complete,I feel better now.

No one really knows what, when or if there will be a ban. I'm sure it will continue one way or another.

Exactly. This board my survive well on new AR owners who got rifles just because they thought future sales would be banned. They may want to know how to customize and trouble shoot them if existing riflesa are grandfathered as they have been in the past.

But since no one has a crystal ball to tell us the ifs, and whats of any possible new ban it is just as hard to predict the future of the board.

Even if they re banned I'll still be building them.

My first two builds started life as 80% paperweights.

If they ban them I prolly just go back to finishing 80% lowers.

the AR threads are very popular here on the forum, and even if they do enact another ban, it won't mean the end of the world. it didn't the last time. the forum will survive. even if you take away all discussion of the AR's here, there are still many other firearms that get plenty of attention as well.

no, this forum will survive and thrive.

You think that you will still be able to buy lowers ? Uppers and such ? Could you build an Ar during the Clinton ban ?

It is way too early to panic about a ban just yet. Not saying it won't happen but it's

1. Unlikely due to political realities
2. At least two months off (If not two years off depending on the 2014 election)

This is definitely the time to get into the fight, but panicking does not profit gun owners.
