Need some help finding a really low weight free float rail 9in-12in at a reasonable price (less then $250) and a good low pro gas block to go with it any help would be appreciated greatly

Samson Evolution rail http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/forends-handguards/ar15-m16-evolution-rails-prod44026.aspx Light weight, easy install, and solid lockup. Comes with rail sections for lights, bipods, or forward grips. I really like mine.

Like the look its very nice and simple now just to decide 12.37 or 15 in would I have a problem mounting a 15 in rail to a 16 in barrel?

Nice rail think I like the look of the Samson a little more but not sure I'm very inexperienced with freefloat handguards. But I do know I want a 10-15 in rail for a longer sight radius.

Now I can get a Samson evo 11in for $158.49 or 12.37in for $179.49 is the extra 1.37 in worth the price jump???

Longer rails are always better IMO. You would rather have it and not need it. You cant add more rail. If you ever go C grip or use an AFG later on youll want more rail. Also with tac lights most people want them as far out as possible to reduce the shafow effect it puts on the gun. Shorter rail means farther back. I run an AFG with a C grip and a tac light. If I didnt have a longer rail, the back end of the light would push my AFG back so far it would change my grip. (As far as being able to grip it and activate the light in front of it. Its a few extra bucks. Get it

Good point!! but I'm only puting a VFG on it and an iron sight on top nothing else I really need on it think ill get the 11in

Ill save the extra $ and get some ammo for some range fun I think, unless there's any serious benifit other then add ons for the extra 1.37in?

I wouod think about grip options. An inch and a half can mean fully extended arm thumb over bore or not. IF you want that. You may one day though. Never thought I would, but here I am.
