I was in a friends gun store today. Dude came in talking about his rifle not cycling on the Independence 5.56 ammo. Turns out he has a .223 upper. He asked if the shop would buy the ammo from him, or take it in on trade for some other ammo. They said they would, but only at the cost they'd normally buy from the distributor for..............$6.79 a box. He said ok and sold them 400 rounds of Independence 5.56 just under $140. Had I been in any other shop than my buddies, I'd have upped the ante and offered him 8, 10, maybe even 12 bucks a box for it.
