Default Found 8 colt 20 rd mags

I was given my fatheri-in-laws ammo in boxes of 556 and wondering the accuracy and how long rhey will be good for as in the shelf life of them. I also found 8 colt 20 rd magazines curious to how old they are?

Yes all metal the rifle is a colt 1974 sp1 so I'm guessing they are from around that time.

As long as the ammo was properly stored it is safe to shoot. Not super accurate but good enough for government work! If the mags are like new or even good condition they would be worth more to the right person.
