Default Folding Sights: What do you use?

I am down to needing just sights for my build Ordering comp, and a noveske QD endplate tonight, but was hoping to save on shipping by ordering sights too.

I am flying blind here guys, forgive me, I haven't done any research, well mild, during my entire build, but not as much as I like to before coming to the boards.

With that said, what folding sights do you use and why?

Troy is good, actually one of the best. I use the Magpul MBUS2 because it's tough, ultra light and cheap. Oh, and it works.

Lots of good choices out there.

My pref is for matech rear folding sight. Its got a bdc lever that works. It also is very repeatable when raising lowering over time. No left right wiggle.

Front i use the standard non folding fixed fsb. Best thing for a front sight. On firearms i dont have that i use the magpul mbus front or mi front sight if its goimg on a gas block.

When I build rifles for customers I use either the Magpul MBUS folding sights or the A.R.M.S. #71L sights.

If you are planning on using a red dot or optic, I'd save a little cash and get the Magpul line. They have been proven to be sturdier than alloy sights, and they are definitely lighter. Since they are just back up sights, you'll use them rarely. I usually just zero them, and RARELY shoot with them. They just plain work.

If you are planning on using primarily iron sight, look into the Troy dioptic or Diamondhead. I prefer Diamondhead personally.
