Defaultflip up rear sight

I am ordering my first AR. I am looking to put a flip up rear sight on it. It is $105-150 directly from Rock River. I am assuming you can get something with the same quality at a cheaper price. Does anyone know of an alternative place to order a flip up rear sight? I am not sure which one I want. I don't plan on mounting an optic.

greenr19 - I assume you have a flat top upper with the front ramp sight, but no rear sight? That seems to be a common package being sold these days...

Yankee Hill Machine has two models that flip up and are cheaper than the price listed in your post.

Troy Industries is another company that makes custom sights - though I feel they are a bit expensive for what you are getting.

Post some pictures when you get a chance -

Yup, Troy or YHM. Troy is proud of theirs $$$, but they are good and rock solid. The new YHM sights are great, depends on your pref.

Yes it is the YHM-9680. I ordered it from Eaton Tactical. They have a store on Ebay and they are selling it for $73 with free shipping. I believe they have 2 left
