Default First build

I own a couple AR's but never built one. I quicly found it was like restoring a car, lots of options and easy to get off budget quickly. For my first build I wanted to do it all and do it for a reasonable price. This is what I ended up with. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and seems to be a good shooter. I've only had time to put 60 rounds down range.

.Areo Precision lower
.Daniel Defense lower receiver parts
.Chip McCormick drop in trigger
.DPMS A2 5.56 1-9 twist 16" barrel
.Olympic flash hider
.DPMS A2 upper and assy parts
.Falcon Ind free float quad rail hand guard
.Falcon Ind over molded pistol grip
.DPMS 6 position stock
.Mako 4 position fore grip
.Galco sling
.Shurefire light with pressure switch on fore grip

I included my FTF engraved Mora knife in the picture as they seem to go well together

I'm going deep sea fishing with Gary this weekend and taking this along, I hope he has learned since the last time I went out with him.

It looks like a Zombie killer for sure.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams
