Default first AR build... will magpul mbus flipups work on a flat top oracle?

Just finished building the lower. PSA parts kit/stripped lower. Got the upper coming in the mail today. It was brought to my attention by a coworker that the magpul fli p ups won't work because the rail in front is slightly lower. Is this true?

yes your coworker is right . Not only that but you ever seen a magpul melt down from sitting on top of a gas block ? Its not a pretty sight . I would not put it on the front gas block it will turn into molten plastic
