I think the trigger is good. Not much creep. Clean break. Guess wish had a standard trigger that usually comes in a kit to compare as far as the STR seems ok got a little weight to it. As far as thermal sight lol maybe the vortex sparc for a noob like me

Hey, I just realized my last two builds also had DD, BCM, Noveske, Magpul and Troy components! And Viking Tactical, so my vote is for their VTAC MK2 sling (the new version with metal fasteners). Like that STR stock too. Seems a lot of us are going with that.
Thanks sorta proud of her too. I think I will go with that sling, good suggestion.

thats what I figured , just seems as though specific parts keep getting harder to get or when they do come in stock and you get the email by the time you get to the link they are sold out again . This frustration has made me bite my tongue a few times over

Don't know anything about the other sling you mentioned but really like the VTAC (have two). Of course the VCAS is highly regarded too.

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together. You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.

Yup thinking Aimpoint T1 micro or Vortex Sparc, VTAC sling, Troy BUIS or Diamonhead Sights
