Finally finished my first two lowers. First one took a little time, second one went together better. Now does anyone want to donate to the cause. Just have to wait for some more money and then will be back with more pics. Thanks guys for the great info, couldn't have done it without you.

Wow! Wonderful base to build on, S&W lowers! Where did you get those and are more available?

Very nice! I also used an M&P-15 lower for my build last year and it worked out great. S&W makes for a perfect base to build on.

Good luck with the rest of your builds, you have a great start.

@moshpit, I got mine FTF for $129.99 at Impact Guns last August. Should be cheaper today but I haven't looked.

I picked these two and a rra up at a local gun shop last year when all the to-do was up along with the prices. 170 for each. Shoping for stocks now, and still need to get another lower kit for the RRA. Cant wait to do more. This is addicting.

I dislike this stage of the build because your mind is consumed by the thousands of possibilities and you spend hours just looking at parts

You can say that again, J806! I labored for weeks over which upper to get. Really liked the ArmaLite U15A4 and kept coming back to it.

M&P-15 lower and ArmaLite middy upper...
