If and when I get an SUR, I'd like to have 30 round mags, but I have to hunt down pre-bans .

I am just surprised since I only bought 4...I will hit the next gun shows and see if I can find good deals there and buy a few more.

I like the 20 rounders for mine but only because if I use a 30 round it makes shooting from a rest difficult. I think if I got a good bipod that would fix the problem in which case 20 or 30 wouldn't matter to me.

Hey JD, you got any 20 round mags you want to get rid of?

I picked up several of these mag pouches that hold three 30 round mags for 20 bucks per at a gun show. All but one mag was in great shape. I had to replace a spring in one. The pouches are pretty cool. They have the things on the side I imagine was to hold a grenade(?) THey are all old mil surp and have wear. But I really don't care as I intend to wear them a lot more For the money they where a steal I thought. They have the metal sliders to add or remove from a belt if one was so inclined but I really don't see the need to carry that much ammo it is a great way to keep them together. And I guess when the zombies come I can slap them all around my belt and get all Rambo on em. I love hitting a gun show an hour before they fold up for the weekend. They wanted more for them but really didn't want to carry them back home I guess.

So..All that being said I guess the 30 rounders will do it for me. Being I have a bunch of them.

They are for grenades. I preferred to keep oranges in mine when iwas in the army. More useful.

Must be very funny if you "accidentally" threw an orange to an enemy.
