Fact or Rumor about Colt?
 

Just had a FFL holder tell me Colt is due to release 30,000 6920's starting Jan 15th. He claims to have spoken to a Colt sales rep. On a related subject, he also claims to have spoken to a Magpul rep who told him they would be filling orders with 100,000 30td pmags.

Can anyone confirm these claims?

YEP you just told me so I'm gonna go spread the news :D He must be a BIG DEALER cause Colt just doesn't go direct with small fish.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. But, better to ask the ones "in the know", rather than start another rumor. The FFL I spoke to has a gun shop, but is by no means a big fish.

I haven't heard anything in the dealer channels about it at all.

But one thing you can count on, Colt, Magpul and every other maker is going to manufacture and release every single one that they can produce.

30,000 you say????

Hell, if they shipped 300,000 today, they'd be gone in a week.

Quality guns during a frenzy and possibly a potential ban, lots of profits to be made

Also tons of cheap rifles if they DON'T get banned.

But if they don't get banned... supply will have outpaced demand by a longshot (no pun intended).

Heck, some folks may end up having trouble giving them away...
